LightWELD Carbon Fiber Welding helmet
The LightWELD Carbon Fiber Welding Helmet is a lightweight welding helmet designed to provide unsurpassed operator protection when operating LightWELD hand held welding systems. The system features a lightweight carbon fiber shell incorporating both UV and IR filters appropriate for use with LightWELD systems. A scratch resistant coating provide additional protection to the welding filter lens.
Ultra Lightweight
Approximately ½ the weight when compared to the standard LightWELD helmet, the carbon fiber helmet further improves operator comfort by reducing neck strain when operating the LightWELD system for extended periods of use.
EN207 Compliant
No ordinary carbon fiber helmet, the unique properties of the LightWELD carbon fiber helmet and lens system produces a weld helmet that is designed to be compliant with EN207 directive. The superior materials used throughout are able to protect the user from direct exposure of full laser power for a minimum of 10 seconds without failure.
ANSI Z87+ Rated
Based on American National Standard Institute (ANSI) standards, the LightWeld Carbon Fiber welding helmet is rated to ANSI Z87+W offering enhanced protection against impacts while being rated for welding applications. The welding helmet passes High Mass Impact, High Velocity Impact and Penetration tests including impact tests above 100mph providing superior protection and may eliminate the need to wear supplementary impact glasses under the weld helmet.
